Standing on the shores of Cherrygrove is lone woman. The breeze appears to still in the space around her. An unnatural shadow hangs in the air around her as she hums to herself, a tune that fades inexplicably around the edges and warps around itself. She turns; light is snuffed out like sodden wick. Misc: Terry took over the Viridian Gym years after Blue left. In an attempt to restore the good name of the gym after the abdications of previous gym leaders, Terry began making new traditions. He is young man who takes his responsibility as Viridian’s gym leader very seriously. The gym is small because few trainers wish to associate themselves with it, but it has a handful of people working there to face challengers. The gym is plain, but arranged with transporting tiles in a way where challengers cannot bypass the trainers before fighting Terry. He is typically the last gym leader faced in Kanto. After being defeated, he will admit he had enjoyed the battle and will graciously award the winner the Earth Badge and TM 26, Earthquake, his favorite move.
